About the Author — Benji Wilks
Background
Benjamin Wilks has been involved in the digital marketing industry for 25+ years and founded his SEO consultancy in Brisbane City, Australia. He has spoken at conferences, on podcasts and has been featured in publications including The Sydney Morning Herald.
Benjamin started the first social media meetup in Brisbane City and one of the first SEO meetups in Australia, attracting interest from interstate. His approach to SEO is no-nonsense, strategy-first and commercially focused — the goal is always to solve the right problem efficiently with clear direction.
iGaming & Affiliate Experience
Apart from SEO, Benjamin has actively invested in domain name assets since 2005 and is an active affiliate marketer, reaching super affiliate levels in iGaming in lotteries from 2007 until 2018. This decade-plus of hands-on iGaming affiliate experience makes him uniquely qualified to review online casinos: he understands the economics, the marketing tactics, and what actually matters to players versus what operators want you to think matters.
Editorial Philosophy
Every review published on this site follows a set of clear editorial principles:
- Independence — Commercial relationships (affiliate commissions) do not influence ratings or editorial content.
- Accuracy — We verify all factual claims against primary sources including official casino terms, licence databases, and player reviews.
- Player focus — Reviews are written from the perspective of an Australian player, not an operator.
- Transparency — We disclose affiliate relationships clearly and update content when facts change.
- Responsibility — We take problem gambling seriously and include responsible gambling resources in all reviews.
Review Methodology
Each casino review on this site is researched using the following process:
- Registration and account verification at the casino
- Review of all terms and conditions, bonus terms and withdrawal policies
- Testing of deposit and withdrawal methods where feasible
- Analysis of player reviews from Trustpilot, AskGamblers and other verified sources
- Verification of licence and operator information against official databases
- Testing of customer support responsiveness and quality
- Ongoing monitoring for changes to terms, bonuses and player experiences
